what we collect

• Enquiries: your names, email address, wedding date and venue, the services you are interested in, your answers to the enquiry questions, your Instagram handle if you share it, and how you found us.
• Club sign-ups: your name, email address and, if you share it, your city.
• Projects: the details you share with us while we work together, along with our emails and messages with you.
• Payments: invoice and payment records. Card payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal, and we never see or store your card details.
• Website: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to run and secure the site.

how and why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and take the steps you ask for before booking (our legitimate interests, and steps prior to a contract).
• To deliver your project, invoice you and keep proper business records (performance of our contract with you, and our legal obligations).
• To tell you about club events when you join the list (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any email or contacting us).
• To keep the website working and secure (our legitimate interests).

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the business. They only process your information on our behalf:

• Google (Google Workspace), for email and for storing enquiries and club sign-ups in Google Sheets.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Stripe and PayPal, if you pay through them.

Where it is needed for your project, we may also share relevant details with suppliers you have asked us to work with, such as printers. Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where your information is transferred, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses.

cookies and similar storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses:

• a cookie called thc-country, which stores your country (worked out from your IP address) for 30 days so prices can show in pounds, dollars or euros;
• your browser’s local storage, to remember the currency you pick.

Both are only used to show prices in your currency. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time.

how long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not go ahead: up to 12 months after our last contact.
• Client projects and financial records: 6 years after the project ends, as required for tax and accounting.
• Club list: until you ask to be removed.

your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to move elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To make a request, email us and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
